Born and raised in Vancouver, Washington, Curtis was touted at an early age as the second coming of Kurt Rambis. A throwback basketball player with a throwback attitude, Curtis’s length, athleticism, and natural ability to draw questionable fouls made him a star basketball player in the Vancouver area. When Sunday rolled around, however, Curtis put his basketball shoes down and put his cannon of an arm to use as a star quarterback in the weekly churchyard game with his friends and fellow PNFL associates. His ability to throw the deep ball and willingness to take a knee anytime a defender approached him allowed Curtis to be a star on the field, as well as the hardwood.
Fast forward nearly ten years later, Curtis has put his basketball shoes and football cleats aside to defend our great nation as a member of the United States Air Force. When he’s not busy being an American hero, he likes to spend time with his wife and dog at their home in Spokane Valley, Washington.
Curtis plans to use his love and passion for the game of football to help his friends in achieving their collective dream of providing a top tier football league for young adults in the Portland market.
