A native of Vancouver, Washington and current resident of Portland, Oregon, standing at 5’11, 170 lbs., and boasting a self-proclaimed (but undisclosed) “blazing fast” 40 yard dash time, Scott has long possessed the rare blend of size and speed that NFL teams covet. Realizing at a young age that the NFL was almost a guaranteed certainty, upon graduating from high school Scott took his talents and raw athleticism to the University of Washington – not to play football, mind you – where he majored in accounting, earning his bachelor’s degree in the spring of 2010.
Graduating as an unrestricted free agent, Scott headed east where he took his game to the next level – earning his master’s degree in accounting from Gonzaga University. Since then, four NFL drafts have passed, and Scott has yet to hear his name called. Some say it’s because he hasn’t hired an agent or even officially declared for the NFL draft; others say it’s because he never actually played football. It’s a puzzle we will likely never solve.
But, in the meantime, Scott’s accounting career has flourished, as he has gained much valuable experience in the fields of public accounting and corporate taxes. Scott hopes to draw from his experience and extensive collection of business buzzwords to create a one of a kind football league that the community will be proud of.
